A hobby that began with a way to entertain myself at my little sister's soccer games grew into my life's passion.
Hi there! I am a sports content creator and social media specialist from Encinitas, CA, with a strong affinity for brand establishment, maintenance, and growth. Initially starting my career as a photographer, I have worked to expand my skillset in the world of content creation and social media. I have become passionate about videography and cinematography in sports media, along with graphic design and social media management, in hopes of becoming well-versed in all facets of sports media and brand consistency.
I attended the University of Oregon where I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and two minors in Legal Studies and Media Studies. During my time at Oregon, I spent two years interning for the Women's Lacrosse, Women's Basketball, and Football teams in content creation roles, learning as much as I could in all aspects of content creation.
Throughout my time with the University of Oregon Athletic Department, I expanded on my passion for sports photography and videography while focusing on honing new skills, as well as discovering a new interest in graphic design and social media management. I feel as though all four aspects of sports media (photography, videography, graphic design, and social media management) are interconnect and work together, and in order to fully master one aspect it would be beneficial to be proficient in all other areas to help further support the strength and quality of the work. Through my interest in becoming as well-rounded as possible in sports content creation, I have developed an affinity for brand management through social media, and how these four components work cohesively to present and maintain an organization's brand to their intended audience, and how to use content and creative strategy to effectively captivate and hold the attention of the intended audience while finding ways to grow their reach.
After my time with the University of Oregon Athletic Department, I was granted the opportunity to intern for the Digital Content team at USA Basketball in Colorado Springs, CO. During my 8 months with USA Basketball, I was able to gain more hands-on experience with running social and publishing during competition, as well as grow as a photographer, videographer, and video editor. I had the opportunity to cover international competition and work with junior and senior level athletes, including the Women's National Team 2024 Olympic Pool that is comprised of WNBA athletes, and the 2023 Men's World Cup Team that was comprised of NBA athletes.
Currently, I assist the University of Oregon Football program with any content needs they have during this off-season and recruiting season, as well as work as the Social Media Manager and Creative Director for the University of Oregon Hockey Club, applying all skills I've learned and honed from my past experiences into one brand that has seen tremendous growth over the past 5 months.
I am in search of my next opportunity that will provide me with the space to learn and grow in the world of sports digital media and social media on the professional level, and have the chance to contribute to a team whose work is bigger than myself,  as one of the many lessons I’ve learned from the world of sports is that the assist is just as important as the goal.
A place to showcase all of my creative content.
